Google, Facebook, SXSW, IBM and many more have already cancelled events, and it looks like it won’t end there.
It’s heartbreaking for organizers and attendees and it’s creating another financial burden many of us aren’t in a position to handle. Combine this with the very real environmental impact conferences are already having and it’s clear that something has to change.
